"Alupen" is offering perfect choices for all kinds of buildings
"Alupen" is made from the contemporary metal Aluminium, and it has properties such as durability, lightness, environment friendly, healthy, long lasting, colorful, etc.
'Alupen' is designed by Hydro Aluminium, one of the global leaders of the sector. Its accessories are supplied by Giesse Spa., The European leader.
"Alupen"
offers desig and implementation freedom with solutions such as single-casement windows, double-casement windows, horizontal and vertical sliding windows, double-axis windows, sliding doors, inside and outside swinging doors, shutters, etc.
In the "Alupen" products, polyamide, the most efficient material for this purpose, is used to serve as an insulation bridge.
Thanks to the special additives used, "Alupen" has a perfect surface coating quality, and adds color to your buildings with a wide range of unique color choices.
"Alupen" offers high quality standards with TS 5247 in Aluminium, with EN 107 in accessories, with TS 7510 in EPDM, with Qualicoat or Qualanod norms in surface coating and with the ICITE test certificate received from Rosenheim Institute. Having awarded ISO 9001 quality certificate, "Alupen" is produced and marketed by Fenis.
Quality Norms and Standards
- Aluminium Profiles

The Aluminium alloy used in the production of profiles must be one of the 6060/6063/AlMgSiO5. The producer must have a TS 5247 or TS EN 755-1 Quality Certificate in addition to the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certificate.
- Surface Coatings

If "Eloxal" (anodic oxidation) is preferred, the process should be carried out in accordance with TS 4922. Thickness of eloxal coating should be at least 10 microns depending on the technique used. The producer must have a QUALANOD (European eloxal norm) Quality Certificate.
If electrostatic paint is preferred, the surface must always be treated with a chromating or a similar surface process. Visible surfaces must be coated with a polyester based paint with at least 60 micron thickness.
The producer must have a QUALICOAT (European electrostatic powder paint norm) Quality Certificate.
- Structure and Accessories

Corner blocks and wedges should be worked as stated in order to achieve a smooth and strong joint at the corners:
- Corner blocks and wedges should be attached to the edges of the profiles with epoxy adhesive, and corners should be joined.
- Joined profiles must be fixed using a corner pres.
All gaskets should be made of EPDM material conforming to TS-7510 standards, and be fitted into the slots on the profiles tightly.
Width of insulation bridges used in insulated systems must be minimum 15 mm.
Moving accessories such as window and door handles or hinges must comply with EN-107 standards.
Woodwork systems must be tested and approved at the laboratory of an internationally accredited institution. (e.g.: Rosenheim Institute in Germany, ICITE in Italy).
